We are delighted to announce a new point of sale for our Aishiteru scarves: the wonderful Catambo boutique, nestled in the heart of Nyon at Rue Perdtemps 3. An inspiring address guided by values of travel, humanity, and respect for craftsmanship — so close to our own philosophy.
A story of emotion and commitment
The Catambo story begins in Kenya, where Catherine Denogent Cherpillod was moved by the living conditions of local artisans — as much as by the beauty and quality of their creations. Upon her return to Switzerland, she made it her mission to give them a voice and a showcase. This dream became reality in 1999, first at her home, then in Vich, and finally in 2005 in a warm and bright boutique in Nyon.
Catambo is now a sensory journey through the world’s cultures: objects, textiles, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind pieces from over 30 countries — all carefully selected based on principles of fair trade, authenticity, and transparent sourcing.

A natural connection
Our first encounter with Catherine was emotionally charged. Her words, her choices, and her way of speaking about her pieces immediately resonated with us. And when she discovered our scarves, the connection was mutual.
We share the same vision of a meaningful lifestyle — one that values the hands that create, the stories behind each piece, and the human connections that give objects their soul.
From day one, two of our scarves found new homes through Catambo — a clear sign of the harmony between our worlds.
